The Adimari Chest (1450) was the front panel of a wedding chest. In Italy, until the mid of last century, these trunks were used to store all the bride's belongings brought to her new house. This piece of art was realised by Lo Scheggia, brother of the first Renaissance painter, known as Masaccio.
