Japanese summer heat is quite serious, especially in the base like Kyoto.
In the peak around July, and Aug. the actual feeling temperature can be up to 110F with 80% humidity.
You have to be careful with heat stroke, especially when surrounded with hundreds of other tourists surrounding you.
One way to avoid the heat and the crowd is getting up early and start the tour early!
