Ginza: You may name many downtown in Tokyo. Yes, Shibuya is now one of the most popular spot for its large scale cross. Shinjuku is good town for visitors for its convinience. There are many good hotels and the bus station for every direction. You can take long distance buses for Mt. Fuji and even for Kyoto and Osaka. But these town developed basically after World War II. Ginza and Asakusa are more attractive town because they developed during Edo period or Meiji era. In Ginza you will find Anpang (bread roll filled with anko) which was deviced by Mr. Kimura in 1869. There are many Japanese old manufacturing companies' shops like Japanese stationary world brand shops and world brand shops also.
