Osaka Castle

was built in 1585 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi who was one of the most popular shoguns in Japan.  This year is the 400th anniversary after the end of Osaka Summer War.  Actually big war has never occurred in Japan after the Osaka Summer War.  The gozabune boat that Toyotomi Hideyoshi played in the inner moat of the Castle was reproduced using folding screen painting.  The gozabune boat is covered in about 3,000 gold leaves.

The Tallest Stone Wall

is the most characteristic of Osaka Castle.  It is about 31 meters tall. You can see the stone walls from the gozabune boat.

You can commands a panoramic view of Osaka city from the observatory. In Dotnobori you have popular Osaka local foods such as Okonomiyaki. Takoyaki, and Kushikatsu. Shin-Sekai is a downtown area with a strange mix of nostalgic atmosphere. We mainly use subway for about 820JPY and Your entrance fee is 600JPY/person.
