Kiyomizu Temple
You can wear kimono to do sightseeing in Kyoto. I took 8 American guests to guide the Temple of the Golden Pavillion, Heian Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple, Fushimi-Inari Shrine, Nijo Casle, Nishiki Market, and Gion area for three days. While some Japanese were suffering from heat stroke because of hot and humid summer, women guests enjoyed wearing Kimono and waking around Kiyomizu Temple. They took many commemorative pictures.
Fushimi-Inari Shrine
According to Trip Advisor, a popular website, Fushimi Inari Shrine won first place in the ranking of the most popular sightseeing spots for foreign tourists in Japan two years in a row. Whatever you say, Senbon torii, or one thound torii gates, are very rare and you can not see them in any other shrines in Japan.
