Great Vermilion Shrine Gate
Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima island is designated as a World Cultural Heritage site in 1996. I took guests to Miyajima three times this year. Luckily we arrived at Miyajima at high tide, so both "Great Vermilion Shrine Gate" and "Itsukushima Shrine" looked like as if they were floating on the sea.
An American guest
Hiroshima is popular for cultured oysters, accounting for about 50 % of all the Japanese productions. The American guest had oyster curry rice and I had oyster udon for lunch. It really tastes good!!
Four Australian guests
They had coffee and momijimanju, a sponge cake in the shape of a maple leaf, for a break.
Five Indian guests
When we arrived at Miyajima, a deer was waiting for us.
