The Grest Vermillion Torii Gate

In Novemer and December I visited Miyajima with guests.  In particular I took a couple from USA on Dec 17.  We could arrive in front of the Great vermillion Torii gate at 11:48, just at full tide on that day.  It looks as if the gate were floating on the sea, along with Itsukushima Shrine.

A beautiful landscape

Thanks to sunny day we were impressed with a beautiful landscape of Mt.Misen, Seto Inland sea and vermillion buildings. You can see cultivation of oysters in Seto Inland sea by ferry.
