Travel Tips

Nagoya Castle Honmaru Palace

On January 28th I took 4 guests from Philippines to Nagoya Castle, where Honmaru Palace was open to the public about a half year ago.
You can see beautiful wall paintings, sculpture transoms, black laquered double coffered lattice ceiling, and the like.  It's a must-see spot.

Inuyama Castle

is regarded as the oldest existing donjon in Japan and designated as a National Treasure.  The main keep and stone walls, as you see them today, were the only structures left intact.

In front of the Castle you see Sanko Shrine and Haritsuna Shrine.  You have good benefits of good match making and easy delivery respectively.

Old houses are lining on the both sides of the approach.

Furthermore the Honmaru (the keep of a castle) reconstructed in 2013 is open to the public, too.
