Main Hall completed in 1937
I love Japanese history, especially its arts and crafts. As I went on having a 4,000 yen yearly free pass to the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno Park from 2006 to 2014, I think that I visited this museum more than 500 times. Nevertheless, I still have a feeling for visiting there. If you are interested in Japanese arts and crafts, this facility is a must. Besides all the exhibits, in the large ground, there are 5 exhibition halls, Japanese-style garden and two restaurants. In my tours, Discovery of Japan's modern architecture & Gardens and Former Residence of Great Artist in Yanaka & Ueno Free Tour, as for this museum, the former is one of the destinations and the latter is one of options. Why don't you explore this museum?
