Shikayose, deer spell

Oh ! To be hungry is not a reason to eat so whatever! Well, for deer, paper is just like vegetable…I have heard stories they also happened to eat 10,000 JPY banknotes, unfortunate humans. Be careful, especially when they are hungry.

Nara is well known, you might have understood, by its deer. In winter and in summer, even with shika senbei, food is getting rare for our friends. Humans help them to feed, on certain dates using acorns. They call deer for breakfast from 10:00 to 10:15 am using horns. And here, we can see an interesting spectacle. Here is a video to show you.
