I had a very nice day with my friend.
We took a river cruse ship from Hamamatsu-cho. The cruse took 40minutes to Asakusa.
Thirteen Bridges are being crossed over Smumida River. Each bridge has its unique shape and style.
There should be full bloomed cherry blossoms on the both sides of the bank.
But, unfortunately, weather in Japan this year is very cold. Cherry blossoms were still hiding at that time.
What is worth, it was raining on the day when we rode the cruse ship. Look at the pictures with rain drops!
But the cruse itself was comfortable because of its roof, and also we could relax in the ship because of less people.
We arrived at Asakusa at around 11:30. Compared to sunny days, There seemed to be less people here, too.
But still many people....of course, Japan is one of Asian countries! Why not?
We decided not to eat lunch first. In stead, we ate B rank gourmets at stalls . A fried meatball, a curry bread, a denish,
and a fish-shaped pancake with red beans(taiyaki) !!
My favorite one is a fried meatball. Many people was lining, but it's still worth it.
After finishing eating, we visited Denpo-in garden which is one of the best Japanese garden in Tokyo.
But Denpo-in garden is not usually opened to the public. It is only opend from March 10th to May 8th.
You should never fail to get this chance! The garden will soon enjoy the best season.
It was still raining, but my friend and I enjoyed its treasures inside the building. There are many huge votive tablets carved or
drawn pictures. So gorgeous masterpieces! But pictures were not allowed to be taken!
After watching around thousands of shops, we entered one of okonomiyaki restaurant.
Okonomiyaki is one of Japanese original food which looks like pizza. But I think okonomiyaki is far healthier and more delicious
than pizza because it contains a lot of vegetables.
But , the day, I prefered monjayaki. Monjayaki is a very strange snack even though ingredients are almost the same as okonomiyaki.
I hope you will try it at least once. Maybe you will either be addictive or never try it again. I am the formar person ^^/
I make this experience to a small tour. If you want to join me, why don't you apply it from this URL? Let's make a fine monjayaki!
