Took a walk Omotesandō

Last updated : Jun 29, 20223 min read

Shopping

Omotesandō is the most sophisticated shopping street in Tokyo. Both sides of the street are lined with cutting edge stores from overseas.

Omotesando was improved as a road to Meiji Shinto Shrine in 1919. 200 Japanese Zelkova trees were planted later. After WWⅡ, the shops for American were opened and then started to become fashionable street.

I walked Omtesando from Aoyama Street crossing to Jingu crossing today.

Dōjunkai Aoyama Apartment was built to revive the street from Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923. Omotesando Hills opens this era and the part of the apartment still remains.
