View from the bridge over 14 tracks
In front of the north gate of Nippori station, one can get a view of various trains coming and going on 14 tracks. The number of trains per day reaches about 2,500, so this spot came to be called Nippori Train Museum. It is rare that so many lines are concentrated in one place. In addition, people can see Shinkansen Bullet Trains from a good angle. Shinkansen Bullet Trains usually runs on the elevated railways but at this spot where they just runs from the elevated railways to the underground ones, so in that meaning it provides a precious view for onlookers. It always gathers people, especially children. One of my tours starts from Nippori Station.
