Yokohama is located south of Tokyo. It takes about 30 minutes by train. It is the largest city in Kanagawa prefecture and has Osanbashi Pier, the International Terminal of Yokohama Port, where giant cruise ships anchor.
Osanbashi pier has a unique design. Its "roof top" is a huge wood deck with steps, slopes, and benches. It is open to the public. On a sunny day, families and couples visit there and have relaxing time with fresh sea breeze. Yamashita Koen Park is next to the pier and Minato-No-Mieru-Oka Koen Park is located south of the Yamashita Koen Park. Along the hilly street, there are old western style houses built in Meiji era, more than 100 years ago, and restored by local people, where you can enjoy lunch.

I think I'm gonna stop at Bar-Bar-Bar, one of the local jazz spots, on the way back to Tokyo.
Yes, there are many jazz live spots in this area, too.
