Zadarska Tour Guide - Anita V.

Croatia

Hi, I'm Anita and I'm a tourist guide in Croatia. I have been working for years as a local tourist guide in Zadar and Sibenik, and as a tourist guide in Europe. Love for my country makes me do this job that I adore, and my happiness and greatest reward is when my guests return to my Croatia again. That means they are happy and feel nice here and that is my most beautiful reward. Certainly some of you have not even heard of Croatia. So I decided to invite you to this pearl of Europe and introduce you to this beautiful little country, but rich in cultural and historical monuments, national parks and nature parks. I am glad to be able to show you my little Paradise on earth. Join me. I'm sure you'll be fascinated by it.

Dear travelers, I’m a local certified guide for Dubrovnik and its surroundings. I’m in love with history, languages, gastronomy, and travels. I'm also mum of two little kids so I don't have a lot of free time :) but when I do, I enjoy reading, trying new recipes, doing yoga and pilates. My work experience includes guiding in Dubrovnik (old town, city walls, cable car, island Lokrum), Elafiti islands, the island of Korčula, Pelješac peninsula, Konavle Region. Our country is small but has a lot to offer and I always do my best to present it in the best way, to balance information and interesting facts about the history and everyday life. Looking forward to meeting you !

Croatia

Hello! My name is Lea, Split is my hometown and I'm a licensed tour guide for Split-Dalmatia, Dubrovnik-Neretva and Šibenik-Knin county, both in English and Spanish language. I was born in Split, I have been living here for more than 20 years and I'm passionate about sharing its beauty and culture! I got my Master's degree in Marketing, at Faculty of Economics here in Split. Following my university studies, I moved to Barcelona to do an internship before returning back to Split. I have always enjoyed learning languages, travelling and experiencing different cultures. Soon after graduation I have realised that office job doesn't suit me and I started to work as a tour guide, which was the best decision I have ever made! When I'm not tour guiding, I love to learn languages - I can speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Yoga is also one of my passions, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) by International Yoga Alliance. Local gastronomy has always interested me, so I decided to do a course for a wine consultant to get to know more about the rich wine history in Croatia. In my free time, I love long walks with my dog and reading books. I absolutely love my job and cannot wait to share with you all the beauties that the city of Split and the region of Dalmatia have to offer! If you were looking for a private guide to experience the region like a true local - you are right where you should be!

Dubrovnik Tour Guide - Patricia C.

Croatia

I have been working for 19 years as a licensed tour guide in Dubrovnik , but also as a tour manager in Central Europe, so guiding is more if a passion fir me than a job. One if the things I enjoy the most about it is the chance to see same things differently through the eyes of my guests. When in Dubrovnik I do small private tours , which allows me to have more personal, relaxed and friendly approach. It, also, gives opportunity to take people to places off beaten track, which is not possible with big groups, but it is available for on line guided tours.

Croatia Tour Reviews

Fabulous Experience

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a guided tour of Dubrovnik's Old Town, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. Ana super friendly demeanor immediately put us at ease, made this tour an unforgettable experience. From the moment we met her, it was evident that she possessed a depth of knowledge about Dubrovnik's history and culture that was truly remarkable. Her passion for the city shone through as she expertly guided us through the enchanting Old Town. Every corner turned revealed another layer of history and significance that she shared with enthusiasm and precision. The highlight of the tour had to be the breathtaking view from the cable car. As we ascended, our guide provided insights into the city's geography and the stories behind its iconic landmarks. When we reached the top, the panoramic view of Dubrovnik and the Adriatic Sea left us in awe. It was a moment of pure magic, and our guide's commentary made it even more special. Walking the ancient city walls was another highlight. Our guide's storytelling transported us back in time as we traced the footsteps of centuries of history. Her ability to weave together historical facts and captivating anecdotes kept us engaged and eager to learn more. As if the tour itself wasn't incredible enough, our guide surprised us with a lovely gift at the end. It was a thoughtful gesture that made us feel appreciated as visitors to this beautiful city. In the blink of an eye, four hours had flown by. The tour was not only informative but also incredibly enjoyable, thanks to our guide's charisma and expertise. I can't express enough gratitude for the memorable experience she provided. If you're visiting Dubrovnik and want to explore its Old Town, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour. It's an adventure filled with history, stunning views, and the warmth of a superb guide.

Charlotte A.

Dear Charlotte and Sophie, Thank you so much for your kind review! It was a pleasure to have you on the tour and share the beauty and history of Dubrovnik's Old Town with you. Your appreciation means a lot. If you ever return to Dubrovnik, I'd be thrilled to guide you again. Safe travels, and thank you for choosing my tour! Kind regards, Ana

Charming and informative

As my wife has limited mobility we would not have been able to keep up with most tour groups and so we booked Ana for a personal guided tour of Dubrovnik. Ana met us on time without difficulty. In practice we didn't spend a lot of time walking - our choice - but we did spend a lot of time talking about life in modern Croatia and its recent interesting and turbulent history. We really enjoyed this and when we walked with Ana it was at a pace with we could manage.

Arthur A.

Dear Arthur, Thank you very much for your kind review. It was a pleasure chit chat with you and Irene and to familiarize you with Dubrovnik and our country. Kind regards Ana
