Full day Private Highlight Tour of Athens
Departing from your hotel we may use the metro or walk in order to discover Athens.
We will visit the tomb of the unknown soldier in Syntagma square, walk through the national garden, see the presidential palace, then see the first Olympic stadium, then visit the temple of Zeus, then visit the new Acropolis museum, have lunch in Plaka, visit the Acropolis and walk through Plaka.
End where we started, unless you continue shopping.

Syntagma Square
The square is named after the first King of Greece. Syntagma Square is the most important square of modern Athens from both a historical and social point of view, at the heart of commercial activity and Greek politics.
Presidential Palace
It is the official residence of the President of the Hellenic Republic.
Olympic Stadium
It is named after the first modern Olympic marathon gold medalist in 1896, Spyros Louis. The stadium hosts two of the biggest sport clubs in Greece, Panathinaikos and AEK Athens. The stadium served as the main stadium during the 2004 Summer Olympics.
Temple of Zeus
The Temple of Olympian Zeus in Athens, also known as the Olympieion, was built over several centuries starting in 174 BCE and only finally completed by Roman emperor Hadrian in 131 CE.
New Acropolis Museum
The Acropolis Museum is an archaeological site-specific museum, housing more than 3.000 famous artefacts from the Athenian Acropolis.

Acropolis of Athens
The Acropolis of Athens is an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens and contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historic significance, the most famous being the Parthenon.
Walk through Plaka
It is the old historical neighborhood of Athens, clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, and incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture. Plaka is built on top of the residential areas of the ancient town of Athens. It is known as the "Neighborhood of the Gods" .
