The Golden Circle route is the most popular tour in Iceland hands down and for a good reason. This route includes Gullfoss waterfall, Strokkur spouting spring in the Geysir geothermal area and Thingvellir national park which is a Unesco World Heritage Site. This route is best enjoyed accompanied by an experienced driver/guide.
At Your Hotel
You'll be picked up from your accommodation in Reykjavik. The pick up/starting time is flexible. A pick up from elsewhere can be arranged.
Thingvellir is the most historical place in Iceland where the ancient Viking-Age parliament had its beginning in year 930. It is also the place of the rift valley between two continents, i.e. American and European.
Gullfoss waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. It falls in two cascades of a total 100 feet into a ravine created over the last 10.000 years.
Strokkur spouting spring spouts hot water every 3 to 8 minutes. This is an amazing natural phenomenon not to be missed when in Iceland.
