Pisa Live Virtual Tour
Who hasn't wished to see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa? As we walk through the beautiful city centre, just like the locals do on a daily basis, we learn a little about the city’s millennial history, its past glory and later transformation into a modern university town, before we reach the famous Campo dei Miracoli (Field of Miracles) with its famed Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery and, of course, the most famous belltower in the world.

Ponte di Mezzo (Middle Bridge)
Straddling the river Arno (the very same that flows through Florence) we get an introduction into the history of Pisa, an ancient Maritime Republic as far back as the Early Middle Ages.
Borgo Stretto
The charming narrow street by the name of Borgo Stretto takes us through some of the most ancient part of town, going back as far as the ancient Roman settlement, traces of which we can still see along the way.
Piazza dei Cavalieri
Named after the Knights of the Order of Saint Stephen, a military-religious order created by the Medici Grand Dukes to defend the maritime trade routes, the square has some masterpieces of late Renaissance architecture, among them the Palazzo della Carovana, which today is the seat of a famous centre of post-graduate studies, the Scuola Normale Superiore.
Campo dei Miracoli
The culmination is obviously the Field of Miracles which we will see from a variety of perspectives, in order to capture the almost unbelievable sight of the leaning tower in all its glory. Lastly, a few minutes for Q & A before wrap-up.

Inclusions & Exclusions
Included in the price is the guide's fee. The fee is for a total of 5 separate devices (laptops, tablets, iPads) No extras are necessary as this is a virtual live tour. You are required to have a good internet connection and a basic knowledge of the Zoom platform.
No need for transportation. Your guide does the walking.
Tour Important Information
This is a Live Streaming Online tour. All you need to do is follow the sign-up instructions, then sit back and enjoy the tour. Dress code is easy: wear your best smile.
Bear in mind the time zone you are signing in from when booking a tour. Pisa is in the same time zone as Rome or Paris.
Important message from the guide
I offer in-person day trip tours to Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Siena. However, aside from my guiding fees, you would also be required to cover my transportation and any other costs (food, drink) that may be incurred.

I would recommend Manolis to any American desiring to get the most out of a trip to Florence and Tuscany. He is a native English speaker, so no accent, but has lived and studied in Florence for many years. We wanted to get out of Florence for a few days, and Manolis not only designed a tour, but found us a driver who was almost as wonderful as he. He was a wonderful leader to our family group, which included young adults visiting for the first time. Prior to our visit, he worked extra hard to recommend hotels and thought about how the tours would go. Our 3 days included a half-day tour of the Uffizi which he personally guided and made the museum reservations for us. We spent an additional two days visiting cities outside Florence, including Siena, Pisa and San Gimignano. He recommended a few additions which turned out to be the highlight of our tour. I would work with him again in a minute.
