Private 3-Hour Vatican Museums Tour
In this tour, I'll take you to one of the most important museums in the world, and the must-see when you come to Rome.
We will walk through incredible masterpieces: Roman and greek statues, 6614 pieces, the largest collection in the world, paintings and frescoes by Raphael, Michelangelo, Caravaggio.
The last part is the Sistine chapel, where the Pope election is taken.

“A first-rate tour that brought cohesion to an almost unwieldly collection! ”
Fabrizio gave us a stunningly comprehensive tour for the time we had allotted. Obviously, one could take weeks to explore the full collection. He gave us great grounding and understanding of the Sistine chapel before we entered the space and help us understand the evolution of Michaelangelo's painting. He was delightful - full of historical stories and context and some fun facts I never knew about ancient artifacts. He had an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the artworks and the subjects of the rooms and paintings we looked at, he helped us to weave a cohesive narrative looking at parts of the huge collection. I came away with an appreciation and also a desire to have another even longer tour with him. He was very accommodating when I realized I had messed up the entry tickets and adjusted his schedule which was very gracious.
