Vatican in depth: a complete visit of the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica: an exhaustive tour of the sites where Popes lived and reigned. Painting Gallery with masterpieces of Giotto, Raphael and Caravaggio; the Missionary-Ethnological Museum (objects associated with non-European Culture), the Pio-Christian Museum (collections of Christian antiquities) and the Gregorian Profane Museum (collections of antiquities); Sistine Chapel, Raphael Stanze and Saint Peter's Basilica

We'll start the visit with the amazing Painting Gallery with masterpieces of Giotto, Raphael and Caravaggio, then we'll head to the less visited part of the Museums: the Missionary-Ethnological Museum (objects associated with non-European Culture), the Pio-Christian Museum (collections of Christian antiquities) and the Gregorian Profane Museum (collections of antiquities); Jewish Lapidarium. Later we'll get to the collection of Greek and Roman statues. On the way to the Sistine Chapel we'll enjoy seeing the Pio-Clementine Museum (the Laocoon and the Apollo of the Belvedere), the Etruscan Musem (amazing remains of the first inhabitants of Italy), the Egyptian Museum, the three Galleries: of the Candelabra, of the Tapestries and of the Geographical Maps. Then we'll visit Giulio II Apartments painted by Raphael.
Saint Peter's Basilica
Later from the Sistine Chapel or, if this gate will still be closed, we'll walk there, I'll guide you into St. Peter's Basilica where, a part the amazing Pietà and Canopy, we'll also visit Saint Peter's Sacristy and Treasury

Tour Important Information
Vatican requires modest attire, so shoulders and knees have to be covered. We'll have to go through metal detectors so no no scissors, no glass or metal bottles and no long big umbrellas
Wear comfortable shoes. Pictures are ok in most places but usually without flash. No pictures, no videos and no talking inside the Sistine Chapel and inside Saint Peter's Grottoes (tombs of Popes)

“Amazing guide with stunning knowledge and excellent tour plan!”
Sergio took us on a comprehensive and intimate tour of the Forum and Colosseum. His plan included a visit to the beautiful house of Augustus and a visit to the area underneath the Colosseum where the gladiators and animals were kept. His knowledge of history and the enthusiasm with which he shared his passion for the city was the perfect start for our vacation. Even though I have studied Roman history, Sergio helped bring the jumble of facts in my head to life. He was a superb guide and a delight to spend the afternoon with -- he even sent us in the right direction to find a lovely lunch!

“Professional & Fun”
Amazing guide full of energy and wisdom. We were able to see all the requested locations in Rome and got to see the Independence Day Parade and Italy's President. Sergio took us to try the best Ice Creme ever, the pizza was amazing too. Thank you for everything Sergio.

“Outstanding private golf tour in Rome”
Sergio was a delight- punctual, charming and so knowledgable… he suggested the itinerary after I specified catacombs and thermal baths.. great way to travel in the city and he chose great traditional simple cafe for lunch which was excellent. Delightful man to chat to… easy company. Recommend highly
