“A treasured tour and tour guide!”
When we recently visited Okinawa, our party knew we had a strong desire to visit the different memorials and sites relevant to WWII events. After an extensive search we stumbled upon this tour option with Tateo. I instantly reached out. Tateo was very quick and thorough in his responses, which was especially helpful since our trip was imminently approaching. Making every effort to coordinate with our limited free time, Tateo worked with us to create the perfect itinerary. Upon the morning of our tour, he promptly awaited us. He had arranged for a car, which provided ease in transportation. Tateo escorted us from site to site and kept us on time as we needed for later plans. He was a safe driver and the car was very clean. Not only was he respectful and kind, Tateo was extremely knowledgeable, adding to the depth of our understanding as we explored the different memorials and museums. Thoughtfully Tateo provided a yummy Japanese snack to keep us energized during our tour. When we asked how to buy more, he stopped to help us easily find them in a local grocery store. Our tour with Tateo was perfect in every way and we would all highly recommend both this tour and especially Tateo to everyone who visits Okinawa. The sites themselves left powerful impressions on our lives of broken yesterdays that will forever be remembered and respected, yet Tateo left an additional footprint of warmth and hope in future tomorrows that will always be treasured.

“Fun day with amazing Ayaka”
Ayaka is young, a native of Japan, and speaks perfect English. If you’re looking for the complete history of a certain temple, you might look for a historical guide, but if you want to explore Tokyo and see the street markets, local food, best shopping areas, she’s your girl. She took us down side streets, open air markets, onto the metro, and into shopping malls. My son and I had a blast!
“Informative & Thoughtful”
We had a great morning with Junku. She added some extra stops to our itinerary when we were running ahead of schedule, brought us maps / recourses on the city, offered to take photos at the best places, and booked us a sushi lunch to enjoy once the tour was over. Very knowledgeable guide!
