I will begin by giving an introduction about manners of the guests in the tea ceremony. Then I will give a demonstration by performing the steps. Finally, you will have a chance to make your own tea during a hands-on activity.

Tour Important Information
The tea ceremony starts every hour on the hour: 10 AM, 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, 4 PM, 5 PM. Each session takes 45 minutes. Please let me know what time you prefer.

I would recommend this activity for all people going to Kyoto. The ceremony gave a feeling of being part of the old traditions of Japan. We also had our daughter of two years old with us and Ryokufu had good care of children and made it possible for us to participate.
