Edokiriko is one of 40 traditional crafts that flourished in the Edo period that today are designated by the Tokyo metropolitan government to be preserved.
You can make your own cut glass cup at a Edokiriko shop located near Kaminarimon in Asakusa. The guide can help you by putting the Edokiriko instructor's Japanese into English. It takes you two hours to make one. You can take yours home. It will be good memory of visiting Tokyo.
Then you can enjoy walking in Asakusa District with the guide for an hour. Your guide picks you up at your hotel to go to Asakusa showing how to take transportation so that you can go back by yourself after having more time for shopping or lunch.

“Wonderful and Insightful”
Akiko was wonderful. We visited the Imperial Palace Gardens and Asakusa Shrine. We loved it, and Akiko was incredibly insightful. We really appreciate the time she spent with us.
