Central Hiroshima and Okonomiyaki (Local Food) Tour
“Hiroshima Tour with Mayumi”
We had a fascinating day around the main sights of Hiroshima expertly guided by Mayumi who speaks excellent English. Her explanations of the atomic bomb and its aftermath were both objective and sensitive. She also took us to a great local okonomiyaki restaurant for a delicious lunch.
“Sacred Moountain Trekking at Miwa”
The mountain trekking at Miwa was an amazing experince!! One I will never forget, and it was made possible by Tomoya! He was super friendly, super helpful, and super patient. He accompanied me all the way to the mountain and took as many breaks as I needed. He helped me understand the significance of the experince, as well as showed me lesser known spots for some very cool photos! If you're an english speaking foreigner, you're in good hands, he speaks english super well! If you're looking to hike Mt. Miwa while you visit Japan, please book Tomoya! You wont regret it!
“Kazumi is an outstanding thoughtful guide ”
Kazumi took my husband, our cousin and myself through Peace Park, the Atomic bomb dome and museum. As she was born and grew up in the area she spoke with great knowledge. She interspersed the history with personal stories she had gathered from the people she had met that had been affected and forever changed by the bombing of Hiroshima. It was a deeply moving experience and Kazumi gave us time to reflect on what we had seen and answered our many questions. She also explained some of the cultural nuances we had seen on our trip which was incredibly insightful. She then took us to a delicious Okonomiyaki restaurant for lunch. I highly recommend Kazumi as a guide. She’s wonderful!
