Masahiro N.
Hallo zusammen!

Miyu F.
My name is Miyu. I have been a Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter since 2009. I began my career as a tourist guide last year after working as a public servant for nearly four decades. I worked in the Atomic Bomb Survivors Support Division for 12 years until I retired from the local government, and I continue to interact with Hibakusha. Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors. I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences. I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular. I am a volunteer medical interpreter and can respond to visitors' sudden health problems.

Kahori M.
Hi, I'm Kahori, a nationally licensed guide interpreter, and have just started working with GoWithGuide! I’m delighted to show people around this area. For the past almost 10 years, I have mainly guided foreign medical professionals around Hiroshima City and Miyajima, gaining a deep understanding of the effects of radiation and the support for A-bomb survivors. Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". In addition to our two World Heritage Sites, this area is rich in attractive resources. I hope many of you will come and experience this fascinating land. Personally, I am very passionate about modern art and enjoy sports like stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) on our rivers. I look forward to meeting you, interacting with you, and also, learning from you!

Hi! I'm Yusuke, a 30-year-old local guide born and raised in Nagasaki, Japan. I also spent two years working in Australia in the electrical industry. I love traveling and have visited more than 30 countries around the world. I also love connecting with people from different cultures and sharing our languages. In my free time, I've always enjoyed showing Nagasaki to my friends from overseas. Seeing them enjoy and fall in love with my hometown has always made me happy. That inspired me to become a professional local guide. Simply walking through the streets of Nagasaki is enjoyable. But I believe your trip becomes much more meaningful when you understand the history and culture behind what you see. I'd love to help you discover those stories and make your visit even more memorable. I look forward to meeting you and exploring Nagasaki together!

Hi! I'm Sho! I live in the center of Nagasaki city and work as a YouTuber, podcaster, and tour guide specializing in sharing the charms of Nagasaki. Actually, I was born and raised in Yokohama, near Tokyo, and worked for about 5 years in Tokyo. However, I fell in love with the culture and history of Nagasaki and moved here in 2020. Nagasaki has a rich history of international exchange and friendship, established about 450 years ago as an international trading port in Japan. Since then, many people from all over the world with diverse cultures and values have visited this city. I love these stories and histories of Nagasaki. Nagasaki is often associated with the sad history of the atomic bomb, which is, of course, an important part of this city's history, but Nagasaki has much more than that. I'm looking forward to introducing you to the many charms of Nagasaki!

Hi, I’m glad you found my page! I’m a local guide based in Kyushu who loves sharing the region’s history, food, and landscapes in a relaxed and friendly way. Think of me as someone who can make your trip comfortable and memorable, while keeping things easygoing and fun. I specialize in private car tours around Kyushu, so you don’t have to worry about train schedules or carrying luggage. We can stop where you like, take things at your own pace, and enjoy the scenery along the way. Onboard you’ll have free Wi-Fi, music, and a comfortable ride—perfect for families, couples, or friends who want both convenience and a touch of luxury. Kazue I.
Hi! I am Kazue. I am from Fukuoka and live in the central city. I spent almost 20 years traveling around the world as a cabin attendant. Meeting different people, different cultures and eating local food were best things in my career. This experience definitely widened my perspective and will help me in some way when I work as a guide. Since I spent half my life outside of Japan, I noticed our culture and traditions are very unique and became more interested in historical sites in Japan. For my personal life, I am a mom of twins. It is still a hard work but I am enjoying a lot with them. We take them around Kyushu whenever possible for their fun and experience. We all love traveling after all. I am looking forward to showing you around our hometown soon!

Japan Tour Reviews

“Excellent, interesting and informative guide that made our trip exceptional.”
Hardy was the perfect guide for our time in Narita and Tokyo. His suggestions were great and made our trip memorable. He was extremely helpful when the ATM at the 7-11 didn’t give the Japanese Yen purchased. He solved this issue quickly and we carried on. He asked about our interests and individualized the itinerary. He’s easy going and his English is excellent. We highly recommend for a stress free holiday in Tokyo.

“Magical boat ride and Temple tours”
Nobu was a great guide. He was in contact with us on regular basis leading up to the trip with the outline of the day and meeting point as well as organising a car. He was informative and never rushed us. We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary he had set out for us. Highly recommend!

“Shirakawa go & Takayama tour”
We had a great time with George. He drove us to beautiful Shirakawa-go and then back to Takayama to look round the old streets with an excellent lunch in between. He was knowledgeable about both and pointed out interesting things about the history of the houses and the way they were built. One of us has mobility problems and he went above and beyond to accommodate them as much as possible, even driving us round the streets to find the best place we could see the festival on the day after. We would highly recommend George

Thank you so much, Les, for your wonderful review! I had a great time with you both too. I’m very happy that you enjoyed Shirakawa-go, Takayama, and our lunch together. It was a pleasure sharing the history and culture of the Hida region with you. I also hope you both had a wonderful time at the Takayama Autumn Festival the following day. Thank you again for choosing me as your guide, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your travels in Japan!
