Keiko K.
Hello, welcome to my profile! I'm Keiko (Kay). As a national certified guide deeply passionate about the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of this area, I am eager to share these experiences with you. With over 16 years of experience living abroad, mostly in Europe, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in diverse cultures and meeting incredible people from around the world. I'm sociable, outgoing and love making new connections wherever I go. I'm also very active, enjoying sports like badminton, biking, jogging, and dancing, especially zumba and salsa. On top of that, I've been playing the piano for over *xx years, a passion that brings balance to my life. (The reason XX is simply because I hesitate to disclose my age...) Health and nutrition are important to me, as is the same to everyone, and I love exploring new ways to stay healthy and enjoy good food! Our itinerary will take us through some of the most iconic landmarks, as well as a few hidden gems that only locals know about. Whether you’re interested in exploring ancient architecture, indulging in the local cuisine, or learning about the fascinating history that has shaped this place, I am here to tailor the tour to your interests. Would I be a good fit for your company here in Hiroshima? Warm regards, Keiko(Kay)

Miyu F.
My name is Miyu. I have been a Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter since 2009. I began my career as a tourist guide last year after working as a public servant for nearly four decades. I worked in the Atomic Bomb Survivors Support Division for 12 years until I retired from the local government, and I continue to interact with Hibakusha. Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors. I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences. I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular. I am a volunteer medical interpreter and can respond to visitors' sudden health problems.

Kahori M.
Hi, I'm Kahori, a nationally licensed guide interpreter, and have just started working with GoWithGuide! I’m delighted to show people around this area. For the past almost 10 years, I have mainly guided foreign medical professionals around Hiroshima City and Miyajima, gaining a deep understanding of the effects of radiation and the support for A-bomb survivors. Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". In addition to our two World Heritage Sites, this area is rich in attractive resources. I hope many of you will come and experience this fascinating land. Personally, I am very passionate about modern art and enjoy sports like stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) on our rivers. I look forward to meeting you, interacting with you, and also, learning from you!

Naomi K.
Hello, I’m Naomi, a certified guide. I live in the peaceful countryside of Hiroshima, where I am a rice farmer, writer, and mother of three. Our family resides in a 200-year-old traditional farmhouse, surrounded by nature and history. I began learning English again at the age of 40, and although I don’t have much overseas experience, guiding visitors has become one of my greatest joys. Sharing Japan through my own eyes makes every encounter exciting and meaningful. I love welcoming people and building connections across cultures. If my hospitality can add a special touch to your journey in Japan, it would bring me great happiness. I look forward to meeting you—thank you!

Yoshiyuki Y.
I was born and raised in Hiroshima, and I have been guiding visitors for more than ten years. For the past three years, I have been a professional guide, and I have conducted over 200 paid tours. My specialties are guiding visitors around the Peace Memorial Museum, the Peace Park, and Miyajima Island. I also enjoy introducing people to Saijo, which is famous for its sake breweries. Thanks to my long experience, I am able not only to explain the exhibits and monuments, but also to share the deeper stories behind them. Many of my guests have told me they especially appreciated this. As a second-generation atomic bomb survivor, I feel a strong responsibility to pass on the stories of Hiroshima to people from around the world. At the same time, I want my guests to enjoy the beauty and hospitality of this city. I look forward to guiding you and creating memorable experiences together. Thank you very much

“A Perfect Miyajima Experience. Thoughtful, Peaceful, and Unforgettable”
We had an absolutely outstanding experience exploring Miyajima with Rika, and this tour was a perfect way to end our time in Hiroshima. From the very beginning, her attention to detail and thoughtful planning made all the difference. Rika suggested that we start the tour earlier than originally planned in order to avoid the crowds, especially considering it was December 31st. This turned out to be an excellent recommendation. Thanks to her insight, we were able to enjoy Miyajima in a calm, relaxed atmosphere, appreciating its beauty and spirituality without the usual congestion. Traveling together by tram, JR train, and ferry was smooth and well organized, allowing us to focus entirely on the experience. Exploring the island, including the iconic torii gate, Itsukushima Shrine, Senjokaku, and Omote Sando, was truly special. Rika’s explanations added depth and meaning to each site, helping us understand both the historical and cultural significance of what we were seeing. Once again, Rika went above and beyond by bringing her professional camera and taking stunning, high-quality photographs of us throughout the day. At the end of the tour, she generously shared these photos with us as a gift. These images are now some of our most cherished memories from Japan. Rika is an exceptional guide: knowledgeable, kind, considerate, and deeply professional. This Miyajima tour was peaceful, beautifully organized, and truly memorable. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a meaningful and well-crafted experience in Hiroshima and Miyajima.

Thank you so much for this beautiful review. I am truly grateful for your kind words. I was especially happy that you trusted my suggestion to start the day earlier. Thanks to your openness, we were able to enjoy Miyajima in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, taking time to appreciate its nature, history, and spirituality without the crowds. That calm feeling is something I always hope my guests can experience there. Spending these three days with your family was also a great joy for me. You are such a warm and close family, and guiding you through Hiroshima and Miyajima made me feel genuinely happy and thankful. These days will remain very special memories for me as well. Thank you once again for sharing this time with me and for such thoughtful reviews. I hope our paths will cross again someday. Rika

“The Most Beautiful and Meaningful Experience of Our Entire Trip to Japan”
This experience with Rika was absolutely spectacular and, without any doubt, the most memorable and special thing we did in all of Japan. From beginning to end, it was deeply moving, beautifully organized, and incredibly authentic. The day started with a ferry ride to Ninoshima, surrounded by peaceful scenery and views of oyster farms, which immediately set a calm and reflective tone. At her home, Rika guided us through the onigiri-making experience with warmth and patience. Learning to prepare onigiri by hand and sharing them with miso soup was simple, intimate, and profoundly meaningful. This moment alone became the highlight of our entire trip—it was a true cultural connection, not something you can experience as a typical tourist. Afterward, we learned how to fold a paper crane while Rika shared the powerful story of Sadako Sasaki. This was an emotional and unforgettable moment that gave deep context to Hiroshima’s message of peace and hope. The experience continued back in Hiroshima with a visit to Ground Zero and Peace Memorial Park. Dedicating the paper crane we had folded earlier made the visit incredibly personal and moving. Rika guided us with sensitivity, respect, and deep knowledge, allowing us to fully understand the history while honoring its emotional weight. Rika is an exceptional guide and a truly special person. Her ability to blend culture, history, food, and human connection into one seamless experience is remarkable. This was not just a tour—it was a life-enriching experience that we will carry with us forever. We recommend this experience without hesitation; it is truly unforgettable.

Thank you so much for this incredibly beautiful and heartfelt review. I am truly touched by your words and have read them many times with deep gratitude. I am so happy to know that you enjoyed the onigiri-making experience on Ninoshima. Spending that relaxed and joyful day with your family was also very special for me. Sharing such simple moments—making food together, talking, and enjoying the quiet island atmosphere—is something I truly value, and I’m grateful that it became a meaningful part of your journey in Japan. Knowing that this day has become one of your cherished memories from Japan makes me genuinely happy. Your warm and thoughtful words mean more to me than I can express, and they give me great encouragement as I continue to guide and share Hiroshima with others. Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart. I hope we may meet again someday, here in Hiroshima or elsewhere. Rika

“A Meaningful and Unforgettable Hiroshima Experience with Rika”
We had an outstanding experience exploring Hiroshima with Rika, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning, she was thoughtful, well organized, and deeply respectful of the city’s history, creating a meaningful and memorable visit. Rika guided us through Hiroshima Castle and Gokoku Shrine, explaining the historical context with clarity, sensitivity, and depth. Her storytelling helped us truly understand the impact of the atomic bomb and the resilience of the city, making the experience both educational and emotionally powerful. What truly set Rika apart was her attention to detail and generosity. She brought her professional camera and took beautiful, high-quality photos of us throughout the tour. At the end of the day, she kindly shared these photos with us as a gift, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture and a wonderful souvenir of our time in Hiroshima. Rika is not only a highly knowledgeable and professional guide, but also a warm and considerate person. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan, and we are very grateful to her for such a special experience.
