Yuichi was super helpful in assisting us to enjoy an exceptional day. He was very knowledgeable and recommended an itinerary that included visiting both geisha and Samurai areas including their respective museums where Yuichi added significant context. The Kenrouk’en Gardens were beautiful and again Yuichi added much context and took great group photos. Yuichi selected a wonderful local restaurant for lunch and everyone in our group was delighted with their selections. Yuichi assisted us in ordering and we appreciated it! We cannot thank Yuichi enough for the extra time and effort he put into ensuring our great day. We also appreciated his knowledge on many Japanese topics and subjects. Another terrific day in our books!

Hello, Jana. I imagine you have been making many more wonderful memories since then. Thank you so much for your warmest words about my guide service. At first, as your group was quite large, I was a little concerned about whether we could find the perfect spot for a group photo and whether everyone would be satisfied with Kanazawa's local cuisine; however, I am delighted to hear your compliment. For me, too, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Kanazawa with you all and chatting with such cheerful group members was a truly wonderful experience. Let’s keep in touch—and I look forward to seeing you in California!

“Fantastic Custom Tour from a Charismatic Guide”

This could not have been a better tour. Raphael is smart, energetic, easy to talk to and a guide that not only cares but does his homework. I cannot wait to book him again. Having traveled extensively, i'd say he is among the best guides i have worked with in the world!

“A wonderful day in Kanazawa with Naoto”

We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful, exciting, informative and lovely day with Naoto. Naoto’s knowledge of Kanazawa and his skills as a tour guide are excellent, and we can highly recommend him. Thank you once again for this unforgettable day in Kanazawa. Manfred and Sarah

Naoto K.

Dear Manfred and Sarah, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful and thoughtful review! I am deeply touched by your kind words. Guiding you both through Kanazawa was a true highlight for me as well. I’m so glad we could share such an informative and fun day together—from talking about fishing at Omicho Market to finding the Pokéfuta cover and exploring the historic districts. I hope the rest of your 3-week journey through Shirakawa-go, Takayama, the Kiso Valley, and Tokyo is filled with equally unforgettable moments and great memories. Wishing you both safe and wonderful travels throughout Japan! Warmest regards, Naoto
