“A Golden Kyoto Experience ”

If you’re looking to cover a lot of Kyoto’s world famous attractions in one day, the Golden Tour with Yoshi is the way to go. The tour is very efficient, yet at the same time thorough and enjoyable. In the morning we visited Kinkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji, and Ninna-ji before stopping for lunch at a local ramen restaurant where I had one of the best kitsune ramens. We then proceeded to Arashiyama, Tenryu-ji and Jojakko-ji before finishing at the renowned Fushimi Inari. Afterwards we had our first Izakaya experience at a wonderful small restaurant with seating for 8–10 guests where Yoshi has known the chefs for two generations. It was a full day that would not have been possible without Yoshi whose itinerary and knowledge of the area, together with extensive knowledge of Japanese history made for a wonderful experience. Highly recommend the Golden Tour with Yoshi.

“Amazing day”

We had a great day with Akira-san visiting Uji & Wazuka. He was knowledgeable, easy to spend time with, and he even arranged a matcha milling experience in Uji that we didn’t know existed. It was a lovely surprise and one of the highlights of the day. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic Day in Kyoto with Kotomi!”

I had a wonderful day touring Kyoto with Kotomi! She had a very thoughtful and thorough day planned out for me to provide the best experience possible for my limited time in Kyoto. The tour was very efficient, yet was not rushed at all. Kotomi is an absolute pleasure to be with and to explore the city with! She is thoughtful and very considerate. She truly wants you to have a special day that you will always cherish. She is very knowledgeable about Kyoto and its history. She is also knowledgeable about local restaurants and took me to some excellent places to eat and drink. While Kotomi does not specifically list a Kyoto tour in her packages, please do not let this discourage you from using her for a Kyoto tour. I can't imagine anyone else planning a better day and Kyoto tour for me. Thank you very much Kotomi!
