“ Temples and gardens in the rain ”
Toshi-san and I had a lovely day touring temples and gardens. Even though it rained most of the day, with his knowledge of Kyoto’s transit system we were able to cover a lot of ground in a short time. We spent the morning in Arashiyama then ended our tour at the Golden Pavilion. As a solo traveler he made me feel comfortable and even eased my embarrassment when I realized I hadn’t brought enough cash! Thank you for your graciousness, Toshi. I enjoyed my tour!
