Our ship stayed for two days in Kobe. And we were very lucky to spend these days with Koichi –san touring Nara and Kyoto. My husband has problems walking for a long time so Koichi –san used his car for both tours that was a blessing for us. As the places we visited were located in different parts of the cities without a car we wouldn’t be able to see as much as we did. Koichi-san was very polite and accommodative and tried to include all places that we wanted to see in these two days. So our tours were quite intense and very interesting. On our first day In Nara we visited Great Buddha Hall, Nara park with deer, Kashuga Taisha Shrine and even Harushika Sake Brewery where we had our first sake tasting. The second day was even longer as we spent some time in Arashiyama Bamboo grove, from where we continued to Kinkakuji Temple and finished our day in Fushimi Inari Shrine. Koichi-san always was giving us good explanation about the places we visited and about the life in Japan in general. His English is very good. He also recommended restaurants where we tried Japanese food. We had wonderful time with him and felt like we were travelling not just with a guide but with a good friend. We loved Japan, loved Kyoto and Nara. Thank you very much, Koichi-san. Tatyana.
Hi! Tatyana san. I am so happy you had a great time with me. I deeply appreciate your kind words and your taking time out of your schedule. It was pleasure for me to be your guide. My wife was also pleased with your nice maple gift . If I have a chance I would like to visit your country someday. I sincerely hope to see you again in the near future. Best regards, Koichi
