Shogo is the absolute best tour guide one could ask for. He was extremely knowledgable, generous, flexible, prepared and kind. He came with sheets of paper briefly outlining Japan's history as well as the historical significance of the sites we saw. He knew exactly where to go for an amazing ramen lunch and was more than willing to answer any questions I had about every aspect of Japanese life. If I am ever in the Osaka area again, Shogo will be first on my list for tour guides.
Dear Lisa, Thank you very much for writing so nice a review. The weather was perfect throught our walking tour, starting with Osaka Castle, tranfering to Todaiji Temple in Nara, and ending up in Dotonbori Downtown Osaka. I really enjoyed talking with Solomon majoring in physics. Since I'm a little bit interested in the universe, I asked a couple of trivial questions on board a train about say what will happen after its expansion. He is indeed a physics major. I should say "a real bank of knowledge." He's a great fan of Japanese culture as well, like Albert Einstein, including Japanese literature! If you had not organized the tour with me, I would not have met so nice a university student. So again thank you so much for every thing, Lisa. Hope to see you all again. Best regards, Shogo
