Hi! Dear my future guest! I hope you are well. Hard conditions have been still going on but I'm so excited to welcome you. During the pandemic, I've got certificates as a medical interpreter and had chance to work at a hospital in Tokyo. It was a great opportunity such as to attend patients with covid and others illnesses. I came to reconsider safety and security is very important for travellers to relax and enjoy. I live in Chiba prefecture, commuting area to Tokyo. I was born in a family of Buddhism priest in Fukushima, So, I like to show you traditional temples and shrines just as a part of everyday life. I also like nature, arts, fashion, foodie....maybe everything! The attraction of Tokyo is mixture of something new and something old. Please feel many attractive scenes with me! I started my carrer as a tour conductor and visited many countries and had a chance to live in the Philippines for 5 years and US for 1 year. I remember people were so kind and generous to me. That's the reason why I am a tour guide now to do something helpful for guests from all over the world. So please don't hesitate to tell me your interest, I'm willing to be with you almost everywhere around Tokyo and Japan!

Hi, I'm Yoko, a National License Tour Guide&International Kikisake-shi. I speak with an American accent, 'cause I lived in Seattle, Washington for six years in my childhood(3-9 years old). My tours might be better with people who LOVE TO WALK, have STAMINA and keen to learn about the culture. Now I live within a walking distance from Ueno Park, Tokyo, so I see a lot of International tourists walking around in my neighborhood every day. (PLEASE CHECK EACH TOUR. The expenses are spelled out, too.) "Tokyo is larger than we thought and the transportations are so complicated," Swedish guys told me. I'm here to help you. I know well about Tokyo, Yokohama, Yamanashi etc. and I travel most of the parts of Japan. I would appreciate if you could see more sightseeing spots with me as your guide and enjoy your stay. I love to answer your questions, even though I became nearly breathless when I was with American guests, a family of three, curiously asking me questions after questions:-) I appreciated their interest in Japan very much. I also go mountain trekking for nearly thirty years. I've been to the summit of Mt. Fuji and Mt. Kitadake three times. Talking about Mt. Takao, maybe more than fifty times. I hope we can enjoy the beautiful view together. I'm looking forward to seeing you soon and having a good time together. Hope to hearing from you soon.

Chiba Tour Guide - Kozo Y.

Japan

Hello! I'm Kozo. I'm currently living in Chiba, which is one of the biggest cities in Japan and located in the suburbs of Tokyo. So, I can guide you to the sightseeing spots in Tokyo and the suburbs, which include Asakusa, Nikko, Kamakura, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, and more. In those places, you can experience traditional Japanese culture and beautiful sceneries. I'm originally from Kobe, one of the major cities in the western part of Japan. So, if my schedule permits, I may also guide you to the attractive spots in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe. I took a Master's degree in chemical engineering at the University of Tokyo and an MBA degree at the University of Massachusetts. I am a professional engineer in industrial engineering, an industrial safety consultant, a registered management consultant, and a licensed guide-interpreter. I have been working for a Japanese chemical company for many years. So, if you are interested not only in Japanese culture but also in technologies and businesses in Japan, I may be a good company. :) As a part of my job as an engineer, I often travel outside Japan. The countries that I visited last year are Singapore, China, the United States, Mexico, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Among them, Singapore is my frequent destination. Also, in the past, I visited Spain, Italy, England, France, Hungary, India, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, etc. So, if you are from one of those countries, you may ask me how I felt when I visited your motherland. :) Okay, thank you for reading my self-introduction to the end. I hope I have a chance with you!

Born and bred in Tokyo I am still living in the suburbs of Tokyo. Hello! I am Joji. Please call me Bonjoji, because Bon Jovi is one of my favorite Rock music groups. I was born and raised in Kyoto until 19 years old. I studied English and graduated from University of South Carolina with Statistic major. During my work at a precision equipment company, I have lived in California and New Jersey in the states for 12 years. While I was in the States, I have been treated as a family by many local American people. So, it is a time that I treat you back well while you are traveling in Japan. The period I like in Japanese history is the war period when many local lords were challenging and fighting each other to expand their lands. I recommend that you should see their castles, since you can see their ambition and their survival strategy. The sports I like are American football and Sumo. Sumo is not just a wrestling game but deeply rooted in Shinto ritual, which is closely related to our daily life. These are the things I can talk about more when we meet. My hobby is visiting old ruins in the world so that I have been to Vesa Merde in the States, Macchu Picchu in Peru, Easter Island in Chile, Volbilis in Morocco, Tikal in Guatemala, Angkor Wat in Cambodia and etc. I have worked at the Japanese company as a salary man for 35 years, so that I can also talk about business, only if you wish. Anyway, I am National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter authorized by Japan Tourism Agency and my goal is simply to make your journey more enjoyable while you are in Japan. Please feel free to contact me and let's enjoy the tour together. I have been in Tokyo(downtown side) since I was born. For three years I have traveled in 57 countries and worked in Bolivia for a year. When I traveled in Maya's ruin, I was really impressed that my guide told me not only the information about the ruin but also how to live in Guatemala, how to earn and the political problem etc... A guide is a diplomatic entrance to the country, I think. From this experience, I would like to give you what I have to every customer. Having been worked as an elementary school teacher in Japan, though I know the educational issue as a strong point, now I work as a tour-conductor traveling around Tokyo area. I used to hike around the world, of course in Japan. Northern Japan Alpes, Southern Japan Alpes, Yatsugatake mountain range and Mt.Fuji. The highest one for me is Mount Cotopaxi in Ecuador with 5892m. Another strong point is that I can hike with you. Let us make unforgettable and precious moment during the tour!

Narita Tour Reviews

Thanks for the ride!

They were there on time. Thanks!

Grace L.

Hope your trip to Japan goes well.

A fun and interesting tour!

Nobu is an excellent guide with a friendly sense of humor. We had just enough time on our layover to see Naritasan Temple and the amazing gardens, to eat a delicious lunch including noodles, rice bowl and tender, tasty, grilled eel. He kept us on a tight schedule, seeing the most beautiful parts of the gardens, giving good explanations of the temple grounds, Buddhism and Shintoism, and even allowing a few minutes for souvenir shopping. I highly recommend Nobu!

Deneen C.

Thank you very much for your review. I am glad to know that you enjoyed the tour with me. Naritasan is an authentic and historically very important temple. It is possible for the tourists to visit by themselves, but I assume it will be more interesting if visiting with a good guide. Thank you again for having me as a guide. Nobu

Me and my daughter were super blessed and thankful we met and found Isao as our tour guide. He is very kind and friendly. He speaks english very well and is not hard to understand unlike other Japanese people. I highly recommend Isao as your tour guide. He took us in Shinshoji Temple and he is very knowledgeable of its history. Our short visit at Shinshoji was memorable because of the well guided tour of Isao.Thank you Isao. I wish you all the best! As we have saud, the stars aligned for us to meet.

Rosel R.

Thank you very much for joining my tour. I'm delighted that you enjoyed it, Rosel-san. Personally, I had a great time walking and chatting with both of you, to the point where I forgot it was work. I sincerely appreciate the wonderful connection we've made. I truly wish happiness for you, Rosel-san, and your family. Hope you have a nice landing home.
