“Terrific day in Kyoto!”

With only a day in my itinerary and an array of places that I was keen to visit, Hiroko was able expertly both plan the itinerary for me and guide me warmly, efficiently and informatively through the parts of Kyoto I wanted to see. I'd had a bit of a mixed bag of experiences in Kyoto the last time I was there because it was quite so busy, and I indirectly set her the unenviable goal of trying to rectify that somewhat. I let her know how I'd maybe been a bit hurried and overwhelmed by the crowds, and that I wanted to get a feel more for the history and culture of Kyoto rather than just the sightseeing spots. Hiroko took that brief and put together a lovely itinerary with a combination of the two and scheduled around my heading to and from Osaka for the day. So a nice balance of seeing a range of places, but not at too hurried of a pace. It was an absolute pleasure spending the day with her, and I can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who has a specific idea of what they want to get out of Kyoto, or just generally wants a local knowledgable guide.

“Amazing time with Niko in Osaka”

Our family had an amazing time with Niko. Her bubbly personality made our day extra special. She was very knowledgable on the sites we visited, and the secret streets only the locals know. Niko was able to costumise our itinery for the day, so we weren't doubling up on things we had already seen. We would definately do a tour with Niko again.

“Takashi was a wonderful tour guide!”

Firstly, I would rate Takashi 6 stars. He was on time and we had a wonderful day with him. He took us to a small town called Mio, where my grandparents immigrated to Canada 130 years ago. Takashi, went out of his way to show us Mio, including a temple, shrine, lighthouse and a wonderful place for lunch(best lunch on our 3 week trip). It was a great day and he was so good about telling us about Osaka on our 2 hour drive to Mio. I would highly recommend Takashi any time and we will be telling friends to use him when they visit Osaka or Kyoto. Floyd & Sheila
