First day: He met us easily at the cruise terminal in Yokohama and we toured for eight hours to Tokyo seeing much more than we expected. He knows public transportation like the back of his hand so we were able to see much more than the usual shore excursion. Second day: When we disembarked from our cruise ship he again met us at the terminal and went to our nearby hotel together, dropping our bags. We then went to Kamakura. He made sure we saw the important sights and at the end of the day helped us purchase Shinkansen tickets that we needed for a train trip to Kyoto. He’s a “Five Star Guide” and very dedicated to his work.
Dear Mark-san and Lynn-san, Thank you for the quick and wonderful tour review. I also enjoyed Tokyo and Kamakura tour with you for two days. I sometimes do a guide for tourists coming to Japan by cruise ship. It was helpful that you taught me how cruise ship tour is. I was surprised because you are very active and walked long distance easily. You look much younger than your actual age. You know Japanese culture and tradition well. Sorry as I could not offer opportunity to do a tea ceremony in Kamakura. I hope that you will experience a tea ceremony in Kyoto. Please enjoy the rest of the tour in Japan. Best regards, Toshihiro
