We shared a great visit to the Edo Tokyo museum, the Kiyosumi Gardens, the Fukuyama Fudodo temple with its dramatic fire ceremony and the Timioka Hachimangu shrine. Reiko met me where I was staying and educated me on ancient history as well as teaching me about how to get around the city. We did a lot but she paced the day perfectly with time to break for lunch and coffee with a river view. A memorable day, indeed!
Dear Sharon san, Thank you very much for your wonderful and detailed review! I also enjoyed showing around the museum and the old town. Luckily, we had a beautiful weather, a special ceremony as well. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan with your son and daughter in law. Thank you again and wish all best for your first grand kid! Please send my best regards to your son and daughter in law. Rieko
