“Great day in Tokyo with Toshihiro ”
This was our first visit to Japan and we only had a short time in Tokyo so we made the decision to book a guide to show us the main sights. I am so glad we chose Toshihiro. He responded quickly to my questions before the tour and everything went to plan on the day. We covered a lot of the main tourist areas on foot and by metro. It really was a full day but we couldn't possibly have done it on our own. Toshihiro was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot during our tour. Also after becoming familiar with the metro system we felt much more confident using it the next day on our own. It was a great tour and we will remember it for many years to come. I would highly recommend Toshihiro especially if you are a first time visitor to Tokyo.

“Amazing Experience ”
I am so glad that I booked this tour for my first day in Tokyo. Fugi was pleasant, friendly, engaging and informative. As a lone woman traveler, Fugi made me feel very safe. The tour covered many of the must see sites in Tokyo in the span of 7 hours. I logged over 22,000 steps. At lunch, I learned the proper way to eat Sushi. Also, Fugi explained how the Shinto and the Buddhist religion are embraced by Japanese’s culture. I learned the proper etiquette for entering, exiting and praying at shrines. I saw cafes in Harajuku designed for one to interact and pet pigs, dogs or otters. This tour also taught me how to ride the trains and familiarize myself with the area, making it easier for me to get around on my own for the remainder of my time in Tokyo. I highly recommend this tour.

“Invaluable guide in Tokyo”
We decided to spend a whole day in Tokyo before embarking on a cruise. We connected with Haruo because he lives in Yokohama, and we had decided to stay in Yokohama within walking distance of the cruise terminal. The HUGE advantage to that is that Haruo met us at the hotel and started the day there, so that he was able to guide us through the extensive train and subway network up to Tokyo. It can be daunting and complicated, and I am not sure how many times we would have been delayed without him. But by the end of the day, we had the confidence to get back on our own. Haruo's English is excellent, and we never had an issue understanding him. He is personable and kind. Best part is that his communication was excellent before the tour, and he incorporated our desired stops into a custom itinerary that would work. And best yet, he was flexible on the day of the tour when weary legs and feet decided to forgo a stop or two to more thoroughly enjoy our day. We had decided to end the tour in Asakusa and go back on our own to meander a bit more on our own and have the ladies do some shopping. And was able to point out a particular type of restaurant that we requested. All in all, getting Haruo was a great decision, and we feel that we have gained a friend in Japan as well.
