( October)
 1 Mt. Adatara 
   A representive spot to see autumn leaves.
   We take ropeway to the look out(1322m).  Breath taking of view awaits you.

2 Dake Onsen Hotspring
    Acid spring here in Dake Onsen is very famous for making your skin more beautiful.
   This small town is also popular for nice & cozy restaurants. Japanese buffet style or Western style ?  You can taste as you like.

3 Nihonmatsu Central
 Chrysanthemum Festival(Held Oct 1 to Nov 17 in Nihonmatsu Castle) is a popular event in Fukushima prefecture.
You can see various beautiful dolls decorated with colorful chrysanthemums.

※　Nihonmatsu Lantern Festival(held Oct 5 to 7) is a very popular event,too.
　　I will show you the night parade of floats if you pay more 3,000 yen as extra  guide fee.Night parade is held on Oct 5 and 7.
 

(November)
1  Abukuma-do cave (Recommended)
   A  3000 meter long limestone cave in eastern Fukushima prefecture  discovered in 1969.You can see various beautiful rocks formed over 80 millon years in the carverns. About 600 meters of the carverns  are opened to the public now. It takes 5 minutes by taxi from JR kanmata station(approx 1300yen)

2 Miharu town and its surroundings 
   Miharu is a lovely little town with rich cultural and historical heritages. There are several old temples in central Miharu. Takashiba Deko Yashiki is a small community of doll makers which continue to handcraft Miharu paper-mache dolls in the traditional way. Deko means wooden doll. You can tour the workshops and paint their own paper-mache doll.  It takes 10 minutes by taxi from Miharu Station(approx 1300yen).

3 MIharu Herb Hana Garden(Recommended)
 A complex facility which houses gardening shop,cafe, restaurant(lunch buffet 1690 yen), and food market .A very popular spot among locals.It takes 10 minutes by taxi from JR Koriyama Station(approx 2000yen)  or 15 minutes by taxi from JR Miharu Station( approx 3000yen).

4 Natsui River Gorge
A  good spot to see autumn leaves. You can see the nice scenery from the train(Best time is early November).

Fukushima customized tour

(Plan 1)Oku-Aizu region (Yanaizu Town , Mishima Town) & Aizu-Wakamatsu
Oku-Aizu is a beautiful countryside and recently has been getting popularity among many tourists .This area is located about 30 km west of Aizu Wakamatsu.
You can enjoy the great views of the Tadami River weaving and magnificient mountain scenery.
After lunch, we will take a local train(JR Tadami line) back to Aizu Wakamatsu and visit Tsurugajo Castle  or Sake brewery.

(Plan 2) Old town Ouchi-juku & Aizu-Wakamatsu 
Ouchi-juku is located 20 km south of Aizu -wakamatsu and a former post town which is along the route between Nikko and Aizu-Wakamatsu in 17th to 19th century.
You can feel as if you were in the Edo Period. Soba noodles and fish roasted on sticks are popular specialities.
After lunch, we will take a local train back to Aizu Wakamatsu and visit Tsurugajo Castle  or Sake brewery.

(Plan 3) Aizu-Wakamatsu City 
Aizu-Wakamatsu was once the capital of the Aizu clan and is the largest city in Aizu area.
It can be reached in 70 minutes  from Koriyama by train .
You can visit  a few places from the following sights during this tour.

1 Tsuruga-joCastle( 410 yen )
  The simbolic icon of this city which became a battle spot for Boshin civil war of 1868.

2 Iimori-yama
 The mountain where the group of teenage samurai called the Byakko-tai(White Tigers) killed themselves during the Boshin civil war.
There are tombs of the Byakkotai. 
 Sazae-do, a rare 18th-century wooden hall of a Buddhist temple, is  a famous spot , too(400 yen). 

3Aizu Buke-yashiki,Samurai Residences( 850 yen)

4 Oyakuen Medical Herb Garden(320 yen)

5 Aizu Clan Nissinkan School(620 yen)

6 Suehiro Sake Brewery( Free )
  You can enjoy sake tasting there.

  Akabeko(red cow toys) painting(840 yen～）, Painted Candles(864 yen～）, Maki-e Lacquerware(1,080 yen～）, etc

8 Cuisine（Lunch　800 yen to 2,500 yen)
 Sauce Katsu-don(Fried Pork Cutlets), Wappa-meshi(A local dish of rice and food steamed), Dengaku (skewers of food basted in miso and grilled), etc

(Plan 4)  Bandai Plateau(Urabandai area)
 The eruption of Mt. Bandai(In 1888) brought the one of the most  beautiful scenic area into Fukushima Prepfecture. Now there are about 300 ponds and lakes in Bandai Plateau. 
First I will show you the Goshiki-numa (Five colours lakes) , the most popular spot in this area.
In winter, Urabandai area has a lot of snow and many lakes freezes. 
In the afternoon, please enjoy the magnificient view of Mt.Bandai or let's try some activities such as Snow shue hiking (From 4,250 yen) or smelt fishing experience (From 4,000yen).
