Hakone 1-Day Tour
Hakone in a national park has an easy access from Tokyo for a 1-day trip. It is a volcanic area where you can see Mt Fuji on a very clear day and experience Japanese culture, history and great nature using a mountain train, a cable car, ropeways, a cruising ship and a bus. It has quite a different atmosphere from central Tokyo's.

Tour Important Information
1: Hakone is a risky area to go through because it is easily affected by conditions of the weather and sulfur gas. There are some things to note as follows.
a)The Owakudani Ropeway and Pirate Ship are sometimes suspended. When they are suspended, we have to get in bus or taxi instead.
b) Pregnant women and people who have some problems with the heart or the lungs are not allowed to take Owakudani Ropeway due to sulfur gas.
c) The temperature of Hakone is always lower than that of Tokyo. Please bring your jacket and umbrella, and wear comfortable shoes.

Weekdays are recommendable to avoid the crowds.

“40th Reunion with ERIKO as our guide”
ERIKO made our 1 day Tokyo tour THE highlight of our Japan trip. She planned out the day efficiently with the sites we wanted to see, using different modes of transportation, as well as added her own touches to make it a special day. We were meeting 2 Japanese friends, that we haven't seen for 40 years.... She communicated well with all of us, and was an active part of the conversation and activities of the day. She had great visual aids. And selected a perfect lunch venue to eat Japanese pancake. The only way to describe our day was WONDERFUL!! We would definitely recommend ERIKO.
