Onsen (hot spring bath) experience in Hakone
Try a real Onsen in quiet Hakone! As Onsen is not the place for cleaning but the place for relaxation, you should know some etiquette before you bathe in, but it's really worth experiencing it. We'll enjoy 2-hour-drive to southern part of Lake Ashi after Onsen. You may be able to see gorgeous Mt. Fuji if weather is good.

taxi (Odawara station - about 2500 JPY- Tenzan); taxi (Tenzan-Lake Ashi- Odawara station) - about 26000 JPY; entrance fee to Onsen - 1300 JPY/person; guide's transportation fee between home and Odawara station 2000 JPY; your snack / lunch fee
Tour Important Information
Please note that there are some rules, or etiquette, for using Onsen:
・Before you enter the open-air Onsen, you need to wash your body at a separate corner, for Onsen is not the place for washing your body; its for relaxation, meditating and contemplating.
・Please help the water always kept clean; wash your body BEFORE you bathe in Onsen.
・Do not use soap in Onsen.
・You could use your towel to cover your private parts until you enter the water; fold the towel and put it beside you while bathing.
・Tattoos are not usually welcomed in Japan; you could enter (if you are not a large tattoo friendly group) Tenzan Onsen but please try to hide them while bathing.
・Taking photos are prohibited inside Tenzan Onsen house.
* If you come from Tokyo, please add 1-3 hours to this plan. Transportation fee will vary with types of railways you'll take.

“Amazing Day Tour”
Ai helped us cover much more of Tokyo in one day than we could have ever done ourselves. We whizzed through subway stations from one corner of Tokyo to the next.
