“Kawagoe - a gem for a day trip from Tokyo!”
This was our third tour with Hiroko san, and liked all of them, but this was probably the nicest. Kitain temple was beautiful and serene, and Hikawa shrine was also beautiful and fun. Hiroko san showed us some fun rituals that locals do at the shrine, and we had fun fishing for our omikuji (fortune slips)! The warehouse and sweet shop were fun - everything looked so delicious! Really need to return for a longer trip! Lunch at a Kamameshi place was delicious and Hiroko san helped us to reserve the place and order so that we could walk around the shops - thanks so much for that, Hiroko san! This tour indicated 5 hours but Hiroko san was with us for over 7 hours - so it’s really a full day trip. Again, thanks so much for a wonderful day and for showing us around during these tours in Tokyo!

(12 reviews)Thank you so much for taking the time to review my tour. It was my pleasure to guide you two on this tour! Especially, I was delighted to see you two enjoying "fishing" at the shrine:) Since Kawagoe has a lot of food options, I know one day is not enough, next time, I hope you can have delicious shaved ice there! “A very nice summary of Ueno!”
This was our second tour with Hiroko san, and again, we had an enjoyable day. We have never been to Ueno before and it would have been confusing without her - in particular, we liked Kiyomizu Kannon-do, and the park area - that was beautiful. Along the way, Hiroko san also provided lots of history and other miscellaneous information about the area. Thanks for the fun day, and for showing us around, Hiroko san!

“Excellent overview of the Asakusa area”
We booked Hiroko san for an Asakusa - Sensoji Temple Back Street Tour and we had an excellent day with her. On our meetup day, she met us at our hotel (made sure we don’t get lost), and came very nicely prepared with an English map, highlighting the areas of interest she was planning to show us for the day. We had been to the general Sensoji area before, but never realized how amazing the place is until this tour - Hiroko san showed us the main Sensoji temple hall, and the side temple areas. Then proceeded to show us countless popular eateries, unusual shops (like goldfish and shooting game shops, kitchen knives shop), an old amusement park and theatres in the entertainment district. All within minutes of Sensoji. Hiroko san speaks good English, and is very details oriented - I see her checking notes from time to time to make sure she brings us to the places she had planned before hand. In addition, she asked us what food we wanted to try and when my wife asked she would like to check try a crab shabu shabu and a rolled katsu place someday, she followed up by sending us recommendations for restaurants after our tour. A highly recommended guide - we have 2 more separate tours with her and I look forward to them. Hiroko san, thanks for the really nice day we had!
