Kamakura Tour Reviews

Great time in Tokyo

We spent 2 1/2 days with Shizuko walking and taking the subway all over Tokyo. We saw a couple of Cherry Blossom flowers since this year we were just a couple of days early. There was not a place in Tokyo we missed. While our first day was rainy, we still got to see many sites. We learned how to use the Suica card to get around and how to navigate the subway system. Even though we took many subways to get to the destination, we will managed to put on over 10,000 steps a day. She even printed out detailed instructions for our driver to get us to an infrequently used cruise terminal in Yokohama. Everything was customized to our needs. Just a fabulous 2 1/2 days even with the bad weather and lots of tourists trying to eat lunch at the same time. I highly recommend Shizuko if you need a guide in Toyko.

Edward T.

Dear Edward, Thank you very much for your great review with warm consideration. I was really happy to received it. I appreciate very much that you always encouraged me during the tour. At the first day of the tour, we’ve been to many must-see spots in Tokyo in a heavy rain and strong wind. And the second day, (it was nice weather) we’ve been to Imperial Palace and the East Garden, we walked a lot and had a late lunch and visited the Ueno Park. And the third day, we visited two famous cherry blossom viewing spots, but cherry blossoms hadn’t bloomed yet, though how much I wanted you see them. Today in Tokyo, it’s getting warmer and cherry trees are finally blooming beautifully. I hope you have already enjoyed the cherry blossoms in full bloom somewhere in Japan. It was really nice meeting you. Please continue to enjoy wonderful cruising. A thousand thanks for choosing me as your guide in Tokyo. Kind regards, Shizuko

Great Guide

Shizuko was an amazing guide she tended to our needs with my mother who needs extra help when walking long distances. She was prepared in every way and very organized we truly appreciated having her as our guide she explain to us the train system and how to get to where we needed to without her. This was a great experience for my family and I having Shizuko as our guide she made Japan feel very welcoming for us .

Amanda T.

Dear Amanda, Thank you very much for your great review. I really happy to receive it. Because the last day in Shibuya, it was raining and all of you had many shopping bags full of souvenirs. (Thank you for sending me a photo you took it at Shibuya, I can see many souvenir bags you have.) They must be really heavy to carry all the time. And I wondered how was your husband’s mother. I hope she was fine. How was the taste of Kobe Beef? etc. The transportation network in Tokyo is complicate, but it’s systematic. So, once you know it, you can try to go around Tokyo by yourselves. I believe that you’ve been to Akihabara, Tsukiji and Asakusa again by yourselves. Amanda, you are so sweet person to take care of your family very well. And William, thank you very much for taking leadership of the family. Thanks to the cooperation of the two of you. I enjoyed guiding and talking with you. It was so nice meeting you and your family. When you have a chance, please come to Japan someday in the future. Thank you again. Kind regards, Shizuko

Unforgettable Tokyo Experience with Shizuko: A Journey of Knowledge, Friendliness, and Expert Guidance

I cannot recommend Shizuko enough as a tour guide in Tokyo. From the moment we reached out to her with questions prior to our tour, she displayed exceptional knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism. Shizuko went above and beyond to ensure that our day in Tokyo was not just great but truly unforgettable. Her depth of knowledge about the city and its landmarks was remarkable. She effortlessly guided us through the bustling streets, providing fascinating insights into the history, culture, and traditions of Tokyo. It felt like we were exploring the city with a trusted friend who was passionate about sharing her love for her hometown. What truly stood out was Shizuko's dedication to ensuring our overall experience in Japan was memorable. Not only did she assist us with planning our time in Tokyo, but she also offered valuable tips and recommendations for our visit to Kyoto. Her guidance was invaluable in helping us make the most of our trip. To Shizuko, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Thank you for your kindness, your expertise, and for making our time in Japan truly special. We are immensely grateful for everything you did for us and would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone visiting Tokyo

Dina G.

Dear Dina, Thank you very much for your great and heartfelt review. I am really happy to know that you said “Tokyo was not just great but truly unforgettable. I’m more than happy that I was able to help you enjoy sightseeing in Tokyo. It’s because you informed & requested me what kind of place you’d like to visit on GoWithGuide page before the tour. It was so helpful for me. About Kyoto, I’m from Kansai (Western part of Japan), and I have been guiding Kyoto many times, so I could inform you of the recommended places for sightseeing in Kyoto. Hoping you have enjoyed the tour of Japan. I’ve enjoyed myself talking with you about various things during the tour. Thank you again for your warm review. It encouraged me very much. And thank you for choosing me as your guide. Kind regards, Shizuko
