“Day to Uji”

Kyoto is beautiful but Mana took us to her hometown of Uji, which is a short train ride away. Gorgeous scenery including the Uji river, Byodoin Temple, small tea ceremony, and several great lessons on some basic Japanese. Perfect 4 hours!

“Safe and Quick to See the Sights”

Mana was very quick, too quick for our liking (and we requested going slower). But she ultimately got us to the sights we wanted to see quickly and safely. Her English is mediocre, so don't expect to learn too much about the various sights other than basic stuff. When we asked more probing questions, we didn't get much. Friendly enough, we had a good day.
