We will use public transportation. i recommend buying One-Day Pass of Kyoto City Bus.
And please wear comfortable shoes.
Important message from the guide
Buses conveniently stop right at tourist sites, but during the peak seasons , they get very crowded. So I suggest we use the subway or take a taxi. That will take us to our destinations more smoothly.

“A great walk through Southern Higashiyama in Kyoto”
Highly recommend hiring Yuriko as a private tour guide! Working within a time constraint and unsure of how best to manage our expectations (with so little time and so much to see), Yuriko patiently helped us plan a perfect 1/2 day tour prior to our arrival. We were able to see the sights most important to us and move at our own pace. Yuriko used her teaching skills to fill in the blanks, keep us on track, show us some areas of interest away from the crowds and ultimately get us to our final destination on time!
