Enjoy a stroll around Gion, Kyoto’s biggest hanamachi (geisha district), then on to Miyagawa-cho to play Tosenkyo, fan-tossing.

Tosenkyo is one of the traditional games which are popular with geisha. After some practice, you'll play the game against maiko.

You also have time to enjoy the geisha dance performance and matcha (green tea) break.

Stroll around Gion, Kyoto's biggest geisha district.

When we arrive at the fan store, you will be treated to two dance performances by a maiko.

You will be instructed in the rules of Tosenkyo, and play a round against the maiko after a bit of practice.

After Tosenkyo, you will have a photo opportunity with the maiko.

You can continue to relax with matcha green tea and Kyo-Namagashi sweets.

You will be able to take home the fans used in the game as a souvenir.
