Mt Fuji,as a sacred place for worship
You can learn about history of Mt Fuji worship and visit some historical sites where Mt Fuji pilgrims used to go before they climbed Mt Fuji during Edo period about 200~400 years ago.

Chureito(Arakura sengen shrine park)
Visit a famous Chureito where you can see five stories pagoda and Mt Fuji at the same time if the wear is fine
Kitaguchi hogu Fuji Sengen shrine
Go to one of the biggest Shrine that the deity of Mt Fuji is enshrined.
Oshino Hakkai (eight springs)
Visit Oshino Hakkai where you are able to see clear springs of Mt Fuji's underground water.

Important message from the guide
I can guide you in Shizuoka(Shimizu) and Nagano if you pay for my transportation fee (and accommodation depending on time a tour starts and where).
If you would like me to pick up in Tokyo, I have to ask you pick up fee as well.
I am available to guide only in Yamanashi and Mt Fuji from May to July.
Also, I have only customized tour in April because it might be hard to complete all sight seeing spots due to peak tourist season.

“Wonderful day around Mt Fuji”
My two sons and I had a wonderful day exploring the nearby sites of Mt Fuji. Chinami was essential to the success of the trip. She picked a set of interesting sites to explore and was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the history of the shrines and temples, the geography of the mountain, and good places to eat. Chinami kept a high tempo throughout the six plus hours we spent together and timed everything perfectly. Plus, she provided a lot of help with the logistics of travel from Tokyo. Overall a five star plus review.

“Best day of our holiday”
We had the most amazing day with Chinami visiting the Mt Fuji area. She was a wonderful tour guide who was extremely organised, efficient, kind and informative. She went above and beyond with every detail of the day from start to end making the day run so smoothly. We learnt so much from her that we would have otherwise missed and just had the most enjoyable experience. Nothing was too much trouble for Chinami and we highly recommend her and look forward to hopefully one day coming back to Japan and taking another tour with her.
