Visit to the spiritual Nikko Toshogu shrine World Heritage site, 93 meter high Kegon Waterfall, and beautiful Lake Chuzenji

We'll use public transportation between Tokyo and Nikko (train), and at Nikko area (bus)

1. transportation fee (for both you and guide) (Note: Round trip train ticket between Tokyo and Nikko: about 5600 Yen/Adult, Bus fare in Nikko area: about 2000 Yen/Adult, We'll try to use the available discount tickets at the tour timing.)

3. admission fee (for both you and guide) (Note: Admission fee to Toshogu Shrine: about 1300 Yen/Adult, Admission fee for Kegon Waterfall observatory platform: about 550 Yen/Adult)

In this one-day tour from Tokyo, you will enjoy a fulfilling tour of World Heritage sites and breathtaking nature.

Some candidate sightseeing spots are following:

1. Toshogu Shirine (It's splendid architecture is designed by artisans from all over Japan. Many of the animal carvings symbolize world peace.)

2. Kegon Waterfall (One of Japan's top three water walls. You'll experience power of gushing water at the observation platform (charges apply))

3. Lake Chuzenji (Great summer resort.)

4. Futarasan Shrine

5. Rinnoji Temple

6. Shinkyo Bridge

6. Senjogahara Marshlands

Important message from the guide

I can also guide you in Okinawa, Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Shimane, Hiroshima, Kobe, Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Shiga, Kanazawa, Nagoya, Gifu, Nagano, Niigata, etc., if you pay my transportation fee between Tokyo or Yokohama and these places, my hotel fee, and cost of my meals.

“ A good time was had by all”

Shin-go all the way! (as this is appropriately Christmas time) Our one-day tour in Nikko could not have been better. Shin-San took us everywhere, explained everything in detail, and spent more time with us than required. His English was impeccable. Lunch was also a pleasant surprise. The place looked like a cafeteria but we had the best udon in all of Japan here. A good time was had by all. Thank you Shin. Phoebe (write for the group)

“Super nice Guide”

We were a group of 14 who hired Shin for 3 days before and after the Tokyo marathon. Shin delivered exactly what we were looking for with little guidance. We came away with a good understanding of Tokyo, its people, culture, architecture, history and sights. It is tough to find a more kind individual anywhere. Although a very diverse group we all thoroughly enjoyed our tours of the city. Shin was very patient with us. If touring Tokyo you can’t go wrong with Shin.
