Firstly, the tour is not specialized for the Pilgrimage Hidden Christian sites; visit the high light sightseeing spots in the NISHI-SONOGI area departing from Nagasaki city, including two World Heritage sites(Hidden Christian)of Nagasaki region. Tour duration will be flexible from 6 to 9 hours, depending on the number of highlight spots you visit.

Big arched bridge connects Sasebo ctiy with Saikai city, can drive or walk through, may observe whirling tides from the bridge. Some restaurants and souvenir shops available.

(standard) HARIO Communication Tour (war ruins): (20min)

Observe three huge old military Communication tower, a ruin of WW2, you can look and enter inside of the tower. 3 of 136m high, 12m in diameter, 98years old, Japanese Navy comm towers.

(standard) NEW SAIKAI Bridge(toll bridge):(drive through)

Big arched bridge connects Sasebo with Saikai city, drive through only, part of the Saikai Pearl Line

320m long Limestone-cave out of 1.6km total length is open to the public. You can observe stalactites, stalagmites and small falls in the cave.

Tour Important Information

My guiding rate is 5,000 JPY hourly(1-4 pax), 6,000 JPY (5-8 pax).

And a Meet-up fee is 4,000 JPY in Nagasaki city

All the above includes the tour price when you book the tour.

The duration of the tour can be changed between 5 to 9 hours, but the tour will be invaluable one, just a driving, so I recommend you at least 6 hours.

We might not be able to observe inside of the churches because of the church condition(Sunday MASS, special event, etc...).

We need a Rental car or Taxi for the transportation. I inform you estimated car cost in the proposal tour plan before your booking.

On Sunday morning, almost all churches have MASS, so might not be able to observe inside.

Important message from the guide

My coverage areas are mainly poor public transportation areas, so mostly use my private car (5 pax) or a suitable size rental car (6 to 7 pax) to move. We use a Jumbo taxi for 8 pax group. It is easy to travel and free to move.

My coverage areas are Nagasaki, Saga, and Fukuoka prefectures. But I live near Omura city in Nagasaki prefecture, so depending on where I meet you (meet-up), I will request you to pay the Meet-up fee (transportation cost back and forth to the meeting spot) in cash on site. The meet-up fee will be different based on the transportation fee from where I stay. Before the tour date, I will inform you how much the meet-up fee in the original tour plan.

Here are the basic meet-up fees for each area, Ohmura city is 2,000 JPY, Sasebo city is 3,500JPY, Isahaya city is 3,500 JPY, Nagasaki city is 4,000JPY, Saga is 8,000JPY, and Fukuoka is 15,000JPY. I will try to choose the cheapest way to travel. If you don't care high meet-up fee, I go anywhere as far as I can.

I work in both Nagasaki and Okinawa, working in 2 places for about half and half days a month. I have lived in Okinawa for over 12 years and am qualified and registered as an Okinawa Prefectural interpreter tour guide.

On my schedule calendar, available days mean that I stay in Nagasaki; on the contrary, unavailable days mean I am in Okinawa(mostly), so I might be able to guide you in Okinawa. I have another GWG account in Okinawa also, please visit it, too.

“Nagasaki - Rich in history”
