This is the Online Tour featuring the full wonder of Enoshima Island, the spiritual place wrapped in the dragon legend. We visit shrines and caves.
No need to fly over here. Just stay home and watch my live tour visiting attractive spots on the island. You and I are connected on Skype.
I am a licensed national tour guide and you will enjoy the same quality of the island tour as the real one. The Enoshima Island is the sailing venue of 2020 Tokyo Olympics,.
Asia/Tokyo (UTC +9hs)
The approach is lined up with many souvenir shops and eateries.
The escalator takes us to the first shrine. Only a minute ride but lots of fun.
It enshrines the younger Sea Goddess.
Visitors wash their hands at the dragon's water basin before worship.
Enoshima Yacht Harbor is visible far down, the sailing venue of 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, although it was postponed by 1 year.
The second shrine is dedicated to Elder Sea Goddess. The shrine was renovated in 1996.
You'll have a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, the peninsula, the Hokone mountains. Mt. Fuji may be visible on a dry clear day.
High waves from the Pacific Ocean have eroded the cliff for nearly 80,000 years and made deep caves . We will adventure the caves.
It's really a fun. If caves are closed due to the bad weather or high waves for safety reason, I will visit the Enoshima Daishi Temple which is dedicated to a pair of God Fire and the Enoshima third shrine.

“Day tour of kamakara”
Takayasu was an excellent guide! His explanations were clear we, enjoyed the historical information he presented. He adjusted the day at our request, because of rain and our need to be at the airport for our return home. He made sure our bags were taken care of appropriately, walking us in to the counter . I would recommend him wholeheartedly !

(14 reviews)Hi Lorraine, Thank you very much for your great words appreciating my guiding. It is a geat honor for me to have such warm review on my Kamakura tour. It was raining hard in the morning but it became sprinkling by the time we arrived at a shrine and temples. Therefore,we could visit more spots than I ecpected. I am glad to know you liked my explanation. Both of you were so eager to listen to my historical presentation. There are lots more spots in this ancient city. So please come again and I am happy to guide you.
