Osaka is the second largest city after Tokyo in Japan. It is famous as a commercial city nowadays. Osaka is full of contemporary buildings such as Umeda Sky building and Grand Front Osaka. And it also has historic places like the Namba Imperial Palace and Shitennnouji Temple back to the 6th to 7th Century. During the tour, you will visit various popular sightseeing spots.

Osaka Castle: Originally established in the 16th Century by Hideyoshi Toyotomi as an emblem of his power. This was destroyed by Tokugawa Shogunate and reconstructed in the 17th Century. The current one was built in 1931.
Umeda Sky Building: The height of 173 meter building consists of two towers that are connected with each other by the floating garden.
Osaka Museum of Housing and Living : A step back in time to Osaka during the Edo-period . You can freely stroll among the buildings and lanes in a life-sized reproduction of town in the 1830s.
Shitennoji Temple: The first Buddhist temple to receive national oversight and financial support from the nation.Originally constructed in AD593 by Prince Shotoku, who was known for his profound Buddhist faith when Buddhism was not widespread in Japan. Most of the present structures are from when the temple was last completely rebuilt in 1963.
Osaka museum of history: The museums chronicle Osaka's history, beginning in ancient times when Osaka served as Japan's first capital and site of the Naniwa Palace and ending with exhibits on the city area in the early Showa Period.The building offers excellent views of Osaka castle site from its 10th,9th floors.
Tsutenkaku tower: The 100-meter steel Eiffel Tower-inspired structure.Originally constructed in 1912. Current tower was reconstructed in 1956. Try to find the statue of the Billiken, good luck charm.
Kuromon Market : Kuromon Ichiba is 580 meters long.It is a very lively market with lots of human interaction, and is packed with approximately 150 shops of mainly fish,vegetables and fruits.

Takatoshi made our trip very memorable! He was kind, patient and knowledgeable. His itinerary was great and we ended the tour trying Japanese tapas style dishes pairing with Sake. I highly recommend him! Thank you very much Takatoshi! :-)

As mentioned, Nara has several cities and places to where you have to visit like Asuka etc. as for the foundation area of Japan. You are always welcome and looking forward to visiting again in Nara.

Takatoshi is a wonderful guide! He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and so ready to share his love for his country and culture. We spent the day touring many sites in Kyoto and learned so much. We toured beautiful gardens and mastered the subway system. He’s totally fluent in English and our day was an enjoyable learning experience. We highly recommend him!

“Very great guide for discovering a bit of Japan ”
We spent one day of visit in Kyoto with Takatoshi. He knows a lot about history and the different tips along the road. We had a great English discussion about any topics. We do recommend Takatoshi who also walked with us to a really nice Sake local place. Hope to see you again in Japan
