Sado half day tour
There are many fascinating tourist spots in Sado. Among them, the most popular spots are Sado gold mine and Toki (Japanese crested ibis) forest park. Basically, these two spots are indoor facilities, so we do not need to worry about the weather. if the weather is nice, Senkaku bay can be another option.

This tour can be customized according to your needs and preferences.
We do not have good public transportation system in Sado like JR.
Until quite recently ,tour guides were not allowed to drive a car.
The government revised laws and ordinances lately. We can drive a car ,now.
Taxi is safe and comfortable, but it's fare is expensive. 7000 yen an hour for normal passenger car,
Rental car fare is reasonable ,approximately 10000 yen for 8 hours including full insurance. If you are afraid of driving in Sado, I will drive it.
I recommend you to charter a taxi or a jumbo taxi .
If you have an international driver's license, A rental car is another option .It saves the budget.

Kei was very instrumental in being our tour guide. From the beginning , he worked with us to create an itinerary to fit our needs. Kei speaks english and has a great personality so we all were very comfortable with him. He guided us throughout the whole tour and made Sado Island one of the highlights of our Japan trip. “Excellent tour by Keiichi S.”
Keiichi is an excellent tour guide. He organized a wonderful day tour around Sado Island. When heavy rain came he adjusted the itinerary to keep us out of the rain. He was very knowledgeable and is excellent in English. He organized a fantastic taxi driver for the day and we saw most of the main attractions. He also kept in contact before the tour. We highly recommend him as a tour guide.
